We are looking for a passionate and energetic Individual to join our team.!
Key Responsibilities
- Arrange and coordinate daily cash collections from all outlets for banking.
- Ensure all daily collections are received at Head Office without shortages.
- Promptly inform the Senior Accountant/Accountants of any discrepancies in daily collections.
- Prepare daily collection summaries and maintain proper filing.
- Share collection summaries with the CEO and Senior Management immediately after realization of all card payments.
- Ensure all cash, debit card, and credit card settlements are credited to the relevant bank accounts.
- Record daily cash, cheque deposits, and card settlements accurately in the respective ledger accounts.
- Reconcile all cash control accounts and maintain them free of errors.
- Prepare and file applications and documentation related to foreign payments and import shipments (e.g., LC applications, LC/DA settlements, shipping guarantees).
- Initiate TT payments and record bank charges related to foreign transactions.
- Record foreign supplier payments in the respective supplier accounts and allocate them against relevant invoices.
- Prepare RTGS/MRTGS applications and submit them within the stipulated cut-off times.
- Draft Board Resolutions for ADK Company and its subsidiaries.
- Prepare and submit applications related to banking facilities and bank accounts.
- Handle matters related to Aasandha, tenders, bids, and similar requirements.
- Provide reports and other financial information as requested by management.
- Contribute to overall team objectives by accomplishing related tasks as needed.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (professional qualifications will be an advantage).
- Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in similar capacity
- Strong knowledge of financial analysis, credit risk assessment, and receivables management.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and financial analysis tools.
- Strong command of English & Dhivehi communication (written & verbal) is essential
