Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage all legal matters across the Group’s companies and ventures.
Provide expert legal advice to the Board, management, and business units on corporate, regulatory, commercial, labor, and compliance issues.
Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and legal documents.
Oversee legal risk management and ensure full legal compliance across all areas of operation.
Liaise with external counsel, government bodies, and regulatory authorities where required.
Represent the Group in legal proceedings when necessary.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B) from a recognized university; preference for candidates with a Master’s degree or international legal qualifications.
Licensed to practice law in the Maldives.
Minimum of 7–10 years of relevant experience, with at least 3 years in a senior legal or leadership role.
Strong understanding of Maldivian corporate, labor, commercial, and regulatory laws.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
High integrity, sound judgment, and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters professionally.
