Far Horizon is a subsidiary of Islanders Group and is one of the three largest importers of timber and plywood in the Maldives. Established in 1996, Far Horizon conducts its timber and plywood distribution business through flagship "Timberstores" outlets located at the industrial area in the capital city Malé as well as on the industrial island of Thilafushi.

Far Horizon is also the exclusive distributor of world's leading industrial products - Grundfos Pumps and Trane Air-conditioners - both widely used and established brands in the resort sector in the country.
