Responsibilities
• Ensure that accounting records comply with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS),
International Accounting Standards (IAS), and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Document the work process and identify the internal controls that need to be established.
• Carry out Internal Control Inspections company wide, in order to identify the control issues within the
group.
• Conduct various control/performance audits.
• Verify the daily reports, prepared by the corporate accounts section
• Overall financial records will be checked and financial reports will be prepared for management
purposes.
• Various ad-hoc reports will be prepared for management decisions.
• Conduct research on accounting issues and advise corporate accounts
• Liaise with the auditors and ongoing preparation of financial reports.
• Collection, compilation, and dissemination of data to other departments from finance
• Prepare and monitor the company wide budget
• Timely reporting of budget performance to management
• Monitor and plan Group cash flow
Requirements
• Graduate in Accounting or Finance or Part-qualified ACCA or CIMA.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role and proficient in Microsoft excel.
• Ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing
• ACCA Affiliate or CIMA passed finalist is an added advantage
