Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on marine engines, outboard motors, and equipment.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and carry out necessary repairs efficiently.
- Conduct technical checks to ensure vessels meet safety and operational standards.
- Maintain accurate service logs, repair documentation, and maintenance history.
- Coordinate with operations to schedule maintenance and minimize vessel downtime.
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma or certificate in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
- 2–3 years of hands-on experience as a marine mechanic or maintenance.
- Knowledge of marine diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical faults independently.
- Physically fit, reliable, detail-oriented, and able to perform in demanding marine environments.
