We are looking for enthusiastic & experienced individuals to join our team !
Key Responsibilities
- Able to teach scuba diving courses according to PADI or equivalent standards.
- Able to conduct pool sessions and open water dives.
- Guide certified divers on dives to interesting underwater sites.
- Always ensure the safety of all divers.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Instruct guests on proper techniques, equipment usage, and safety protocols for all diving activities.
- Assess guests' skill levels and tailor instruction to accommodate beginners, intermediate, and advanced participants.
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of local marine life, coral reefs, and underwater ecosystems, providing insightful commentary during snorkeling and diving experiences.
- Ensure the proper maintenance, inspection, and care of diving equipment, reporting any defects or issues promptly.
- Monitor weather conditions, currents, and water traffic to ensure a safe environment for all guests participating in diving activities.
- Uphold the highest standards of safety by enforcing rules and regulations, conducting safety briefings, and responding swiftly to emergencies.
- Foster a positive and welcoming atmosphere for guests, addressing their concerns, providing recommendations, and creating lasting memories.
- Collaborate with other resort departments to coordinate guest schedules, activity bookings, and special events that involve diving/watersports activities.
- Assist in the promotion of diving programs, contributing to the creation of marketing materials, social media content, and promotional events.
- Continuously enhance personal knowledge of diving trends, safety practices, and instructional techniques through training and professional development.
Professional Skills
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar position in 5-star Hotel / Resort.
- Good command over written and spoken English.
- An outgoing, energetic, cheerful and positive personality
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
- Physically fit, healthy and well-groomed
- Flexible with duty hours & scope, and a team player.
- Guest oriented and service minded
- Good Computer literacy
- Excellent Administrative skills
