Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage daily logistics operations, including transportation, cargo movement, deliveries, and distribution.
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor the movement of goods, materials, equipment, and supplies across company locations and project sites.
- Manage fleet operations, including vehicles, vessels, drivers, and logistics personnel, ensuring efficient utilization.
- Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, operations, and other departments to ensure timely delivery of materials and supplies.
- Develop and implement logistics procedures to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.
- Monitor transportation expenses, fuel consumption, maintenance costs, and overall logistics budgets.
- Ensure proper documentation, tracking, and reporting of shipments, deliveries, and inventory movements.
- Supervise logistics staff, allocate duties, monitor performance, and ensure workforce productivity.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and relevant transportation and maritime requirements.
- Liaise with suppliers, shipping agents, transport providers, and relevant authorities to facilitate smooth logistics operations.
- Identify operational challenges, resolve delivery delays, and implement corrective measures.
- Prepare regular logistics performance reports, including operational costs, fleet utilization, and delivery efficiency.
- Ensure timely coordination of logistics requirements for construction projects, marine operations, and other business units.
- Support management in logistics planning, resource allocation, and continuous operational improvements.
- Overall Responsibility: Ensure efficient, cost-effective, safe, and timely logistics operations across all company business units while maintaining effective coordination between departments.
