Key Responsibilities
- Establish, implement, and maintain effective revenue assurance processes, controls, and reporting mechanisms.
- Perform end-to-end reconciliation of customer billing, collections, system-generated revenue, adjustments, and accounting records.
- Identify and investigate revenue leakage, billing errors, unbilled services, incorrect pricing, discounts, customer adjustments, and revenue-related discrepancies.
- Monitor customer activation, suspension, termination, package changes, billing, collections, and adjustments to ensure completeness, accuracy, and proper authorization.
- Conduct regular revenue and subscriber reconciliations between operational systems, billing platforms, collection records, and the General Ledger.
- Work closely with Finance, IT, Sales, Customer Service, and Operations teams to strengthen revenue controls and resolve process gaps.
- Develop dashboards, KPIs, and exception reports to monitor revenue assurance performance and highlight key risks.
- Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to reduce manual intervention, improve efficiency, and minimize control risks.
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accurate, complete, and timely recording of financial transactions.
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes, including review of reconciliations and supporting schedules.
- Prepare and review financial statements, management reports, variance analyses, and relevant financial schedules.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, company policies, tax requirements, and internal control procedures.
- Coordinate with auditors and ensure timely completion of audit requirements.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
- Professional qualification such as CA, ACCA, MBA or CMA would be an added advantage.
- Minimum 5–7 years of relevant experience, preferably with supervisory or managerial responsibilities.
- Strong knowledge of accounting, financial reporting, reconciliations, internal controls, and audit coordination.
- Experience in Revenue Assurance, Billing, Subscription Services, or similar recurring-revenue businesses will be preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with SAP systems, data analytics would be an advantage.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- High level of accuracy, integrity, ownership, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
