We are looking for enthusiastic & experienced individuals to join our team
Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out routine laboratory work for thalassemia screening including phlebotomy, complete haemogram, blood picture analysis and electrophoresis.
  • Participate in field trips as required.
  • Involve in awareness raising programs as needed.
  • Provide genetic counselling to identified carriers and couples at risk.
  • Conduct data entry for Thalassemia and updating of laboratory statistics.
  • Ensure proper utilization and storage of laboratory supplies and equipment.
  • Coordinate in-house training.
  • Perform routine maintenance of laboratory equipment and preparation of reagents.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or related field (including hematology).
  • Must have a Phlebotomy Certificate.
  • Experience in a relevant field will be considered.
  • Must be registered at Maldives Allied Health Council and licensed to work as a Laboratory Technologist.
  • Must be a Maldivian.
  • Basic knowledge of MS Office.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Good analytical judgment and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team.
  • Good attention to detail and organizational skills.
