Job description

Supervise daily food packing operations for fruits, vegetables, chicken, fish, and other fresh food products.
Manage and assign tasks to packing staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
Ensure products are properly cleaned, cut, portioned, packed, weighed, labelled, and stored.
Monitor product quality, freshness, and hygiene standards before dispatch.
Ensure proper handling of fresh produce, poultry, and seafood according to food safety procedures.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the packing area and equipment.
Monitor stock usage, packing materials, and report shortages when required.
Ensure correct temperature control and cold chain practices are followed.
Train and guide staff on proper packing methods and hygiene requirements.
Check staff attendance, punctuality, and work performance.
Prepare daily production and packing reports.
Coordinate with warehouse, sales, and delivery teams for timely order preparation.
Handle customer order requirements and ensure accuracy before dispatch.
Report damaged products, quality issues, and operational problems to management.
Perform any other duties assigned by management.

Requirements

Maldivian candidate preferred.
Age between 30 – 50 years.
Previous experience in food packing, supermarket, warehouse, FMCG, or food production is preferred.
Experience supervising staff is an advantage.
Good knowledge of food hygiene and safe handling practices.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced fresh food environment.
