We are looking for enthusiastic & experienced individuals to join our team !
Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out routine laboratory work for thalassemia screening including phlebotomy, complete haemogram, blood picture analysis, and electrophoresis.
  • Participate in field trips as required.
  • Engage in awareness raising programs as required.
  • Provide Genetic counselling to identified carriers and couples at risk.
  • Enter data for Thalassemia and update laboratory statistics.
  • Ensure all laboratory supplies and equipment are utilized and stored properly.
  • Coordinate in-house training.
  • Perform routine maintenance of laboratory equipment and prepare reagents in lab.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or related field (including hematology).
  • Phlebotomy Certificate.
  • Experience in a relevant field is preferred.
  • Registered at Maldives Allied Health Council and licensed to work as a Laboratory Technologist.
  • Maldivian citizen required.
  • Basic knowledge of MS Office.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Good analytical judgment and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and good organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and pay attention to detail.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and travel occasionally.
