Candidate profile
- Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management, Food & Beverage Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a Restaurant Manager or Assistant Restaurant Manager role within a luxury resort or five-star hotel.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
- Excellent knowledge of food, beverages, wines, and luxury service standards.
- Experience with POS systems (Micros or similar) and inventory management.
- Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets, costs, and revenue.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and guest relations skills.
- Ability to resolve guest concerns professionally and efficiently.
- Strong organizational and planning abilities with attention to detail.
- Professional appearance with exceptional grooming standards
Job Description
- Lead and oversee the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring exceptional guest experiences.
- Maintain the highest standards of food and beverage service, cleanliness, and presentation.
- Ensure compliance with all resort service standards, food safety, and hygiene procedures.
- Supervise, coach, and develop the restaurant team to deliver outstanding service.
- Conduct daily briefings and allocate responsibilities to team members.
- Monitor guest satisfaction, handle feedback, and resolve complaints promptly.
- Ensure restaurant mise en place, service flow, and operational readiness before each service.
- Maintain excellent product knowledge, including menus, wines, beverages, and promotions.
- Drive revenue through effective upselling and guest engagement.
- Monitor inventory levels, stock control, ordering, and monthly stock takes.
- Ensure accurate billing procedures and proper use of the POS system.
- Control operating costs while maximizing productivity and profitability.
- Coordinate with the kitchen and other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Monitor and maintain outlet maintenance, equipment, and operational standards.
- Prepare reports, complete operational logbooks, and ensure compliance with resort policies.
- Promote teamwork, continuous learning, and a positive work environment.
- Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety, environmental, and grooming standards.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Food & Beverage Management team.
