Candidate profile
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in Human Resources or Administration, preferably within hospitality or resort operations
- Good understanding of HR administration processes and Maldives Labour Law.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Creative skills in preparing posters, presentations, and communication materials are an advantage.
- Positive personality with the ability to work collaboratively with multicultural teams.
- Flexible and adaptable to remote island living and operational requirements.
- Fluent in spoken and written English.
Job Description
- Maintain accurate employee records, HR databases, and filing systems.
- Monitor probation periods, contract expiry dates, leave balances, and employee documentation.
- Support onboarding processes and ensure all employment documents are completed accurately.
- Prepare welcome kits, employee files, and name tags for new hires.
- Support HR reporting, presentations, and administrative tasks.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and HR standards.
- Coordinate accommodation allocation for new employees.
- Conduct accommodation inspections and coordinate maintenance follow-ups.
- Organize Town Hall meetings and Team Member of the Month activities.
- Prepare certificates, presentations, vouchers, and promotional materials.
- Support employee recognition and internal communication initiatives.
- Coordinate monthly welfare and social activities for team members.
- Arrange Welfare Committee meetings and distribute meeting minutes.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee information and HR matters.
- Promote positive employee relations and teamwork.
- Support management with additional duties when required.
- Maintain professional standards and contribute to a positive work environment.
