Key Responsibilities

Manage daily treasury operations, including foreign exchange rates, liquidity, and cash flow positions.
Monitor FX exposure, market positions, and ensure timely regulatory reporting to Maldives Monetary Authority (MMA).
Oversee reserve management (USD & MVR), Nostro accounts, and optimize funding to maximize profitability.
Manage investments in treasury bills, bonds, and money market instruments.
Provide strategic recommendations to ALCO and senior management on interest rates, liquidity, and investment decisions.
Prepare and review financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and management reports.
Ensure accuracy of financial records, general ledger reconciliations, and performance analysis.
Supervise finance operations including accounting, tax, payroll, audit coordination, and reporting.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, IFRS standards, and internal policies.
Lead and develop the team to ensure efficient and compliant operations.

Qualifications & Experience

5 years of experience in a Commercial bank.
3 years’ experience in Finance, Treasury operations, or Investment Banking.
Bachelor’s degree from a recognized University in Accounting/Finance or Bank Management.
Associate of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (ACMA) or equivalent.
Additional qualifications such as AIB/ACIB/AICB preferred.
Good command of English.
Age 50 years or below as at the closing date of the application.
