Qualification Requirements
- +5 Years of Experience in a relevant or related field.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Risk Management, Business, or a related field OR MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification from a recognized institution.
- Professional certification in Risk Management or Compliance.
- Advanced certifications in Risk Management, AML/CFT, Compliance, Governance, or Internal Audit.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead compliance monitoring and assessments to ensure adherence to regulatory, AML/CFT, KYC, and payment system requirements.
- Manage suspicious transaction monitoring, regulatory reporting, sanctions screening, and stakeholder engagement with regulators and banks.
- Develop, maintain, and oversee the company’s risk management framework, risk register, and mitigation plans.
- Prepare and present risk and compliance reports, dashboards, and recommendations to management and the Board Risk Committee.
- Promote a strong risk and compliance culture through policy development, training, awareness programs, and continuous improvement initiatives.
