Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular audits of shops, warehouses, and office operations
- Review financial records, stock reports, and transactions for accuracy
- Identify fraud, discrepancies, wastage, and control weaknesses
- Verify stock levels, FIFO compliance, and inventory handling
- Ensure adherence to company policies, SOPs, and procedures
- Prepare audit reports with findings, risks, and recommendations
- Monitor and follow up on corrective actions
- Perform surprise checks across all locations
- Evaluate cash handling, purchasing, and sales processes
- Work closely with management to improve systems and reduce losses
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience in internal audit, accounting, or finance
- Strong knowledge of inventory control and audit procedures
- High attention to detail and analytical thinking
- Ability to detect errors, fraud, and operational gaps
- Good communication and report-writing skills
- Knowledge of MS Excel and accounting systems
- Honest, independent, and able to handle confidential information
- Experience in retail / supermarket / perishable goods is an advantage
