Key Responsibilities

Ensure full compliance with Maldives Monetary Authority (MMA) regulations, directives, and internal control requirements.
Monitor and report on capital adequacy, solvency margins, liquidity positions, and conduct necessary stress testing and scenario analysis.
Prepare and submit mandatory regulatory reports, including annual risk declarations and internal control reports.
Maintain and update the Monthly Risk Register Pack, dashboards, and quarterly Board Risk Committee reporting materials.
Lead the development, enhancement, and implementation of the company’s Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Framework.
Facilitate risk identification workshops and assessments across all business units.
Develop, monitor, and follow up on risk mitigation strategies and control improvements.
Assist in defining and communicating the organization’s Risk Appetite Statement (RAS).
Support the Board Risk Committee through independent risk oversight, analysis, challenge, reporting, and escalation.
Prepare and present risk reports, dashboards, and analysis to the Risk Committee.
Develop and maintain risk-related policies, including fraud prevention, BCP, and data governance policies.
Promote a strong risk culture by conducting risk awareness sessions and training.
Maintain confidentiality of company information and strictly adhere to company procedures and guidelines.
Any other work assigned by the management of the company.
