Job Description
- Oversee and manage all bar operations and related services across the property, ensuring smooth and efficient daily functioning.
- Lead, supervise, and develop all bar personnel, ensuring high performance and adherence to company standards.
- Plan and manage staff schedules, daily operations, and workflow to align with business demands and service standards.
- Monitor team performance, provide coaching and guidance, and conduct performance evaluations in line with company procedures.
- Ensure the highest standards of sanitation, cleanliness, and hygiene across all bar areas in compliance with regulations and company policies.
- Enforce company policies and procedures related to uniforms, safety, personal hygiene, and guest relations.
- Oversee inventory management, including beverage requisitions, stock control, and coordination with the Head Storekeeper.
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and issuance of all bar-related supplies and equipment.
- Maintain optimal stock levels to support uninterrupted service and meet operational requirements.
- Drive bar performance to achieve budgeted sales targets and high levels of guest satisfaction.
- Lead by example, maintaining a strong presence in operational areas and being readily available to address guest and team concerns.
- Ensure exceptional wine, cocktail, and beverage service standards are consistently delivered across all outlets.
- Monitor all beverage transactions to ensure accurate billing, recording, and guest authorization in line with financial controls.
- Enforce strict compliance with responsible service standards, including prohibiting staff from consuming alcohol while on duty.
- Ensure all bar staff use standard measuring tools (jiggers) to maintain consistency and cost control.
- Ensure all bar equipment is properly maintained and that staff are fully trained in its operation.
- Maintain advanced knowledge of wines, spirits, cocktails, and beverage service techniques, ensuring continuous improvement and innovation.
