Specific Duties
- Design and implement short- and long-term strategic plans to make certain network capacity meets existing and future requirements.
- Develop, implement, and maintain policies, procedures, SOP and associated training plans for network resource administration and appropriate use.
- Develop and deploy methodologies for testing network performance and providing network performance statistics and reports.
- Design and deploy company LANs, WANs, and wireless networks, including servers, firewalls, routers, switches, UPSs, and other hardware.
- Configure networks to ensure their smooth and reliable operation for fulfilling business objectives and processes.
- Maintains network performance by performing network monitoring and analysis, and performance tuning; troubleshooting network problems; escalating problems to vendor.
- Secures network by developing network access, monitoring, control, and evaluation, maintaining documentation.
- Establish and maintain regular written and in-person communications with the organization's executives, decision-makers, stakeholders, division heads, and end users regarding pertinent network activities.
- Protecting data, software, and hardware by coordinating, planning, and implementing network security measures.
- Maintaining the company PABX system / internet leased lines and working closely with the service provider to keep the services up and running
- Achieve & maintain high Employee Engagement within the Infrastructure function.
- Management of the Network team
- Identifying skill gaps of the team and provide recommendations to HOD of skill improvements for the team.
- Track and maintain Network inventory
- Maintain efficient collaboration within the team
- Maintain efficient collaboration within Network project stake holders
- Achieve & maintain high engagement within the team
- Overseeing and determining timeframes for major IT projects including system updates, upgrades, migrations, and outages
- Manage and/or provide guidance to junior members of the team.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or Information technology with 2 years’ work experience in a related field
