Responsibilities
- Prepare and review civil engineering designs, drawings, and specifications within short and stipulated timeframes as required by the Internal Planning Section.
- Conduct site investigations, surveys, and condition assessments of MTCC properties.
- Provide technical input for structural, civil, and infrastructure-related planning works.
- Ensure designs and proposals comply with relevant codes, standards, safety regulations, and statutory requirements.
- Coordinate and supervise civil works related to construction, renovation, refurbishment, and upgrading of MTCC properties.
- Monitor contractors' works to ensure quality, safety, and compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
- Review and evaluate contractors' method statements, shop drawings, and material submissions.
- Identify site issues and propose practical engineering solutions in a timely manner.
- Assist in the preparation of project scopes, cost estimates, and technical documentation.
- Provide technical support during procurement and tender evaluation processes.
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
- Ensure works are completed within approved timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Conduct site inspections and prepare progress, inspection, and compliance reports.
- Verify completed works prior to handover and certifications?
- Maintain proper documentation including drawings, approvals, variations, and as-built records.
- Support defect identification and rectification during defect liability periods.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field with 2 years experience in a related field
