Candidate profile
- Proven experience in a similar role within a luxury resort or hospitality environment
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Forbes Travel Guide standards and LQA (Leading Quality Assurance) audits.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with a hands-on approach
- In-depth knowledge of food & beverage operations, service standards, and kitchen coordination
- Financial acumen with experience in budgeting, cost control, and revenue management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment
- Knowledge of health, safety, and hygiene standards
- Flexible and adaptable with a proactive mindset
- Previous experience in the Maldives or remote island resorts is an advantage
Job Description
- Ensure outstanding guest service through a proactive, “can-do” attitude and timely response to guest needs.
- Oversee daily F&B operations, ensuring all outlets meet brand standards, SOPs, and hygiene requirements.
- Lead, train, and motivate the F&B team to maintain high service quality and product knowledge.
- Monitor guest satisfaction, handle feedback and complaints professionally, and implement corrective actions.
- Manage outlet setup, service flow, reservations, and overall dining experience.
- Maintain strong coordination with kitchen and other departments for smooth operations.
- Ensure proper stock control, inventory management, and cost efficiency.
- Drive revenue through upselling and promotional activities.
- Conduct team briefings, performance reviews, and ongoing training.
- Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and company policies at all times.
- Support financial goals by managing costs, productivity, and operational efficiency.
