General Requirements
- Recognized Diploma/Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology
- Registered at a licensing authority
- Minimum 2 years of experience
- Good English communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required
Job Specification
- Conduct laboratory tests that aid in the detection, diagnosis and treatment of diseases
- Perform routine tests in the laboratory from the event of sample collection to the event of reporting.
- Conduct laboratory testing in all the specific areas of laboratory such as biochemistry, immunology, hematology, clinical pathology, microbiology, histopathology, cytology, blood bank and molecular diagnostics
- Operate laboratory equipment and analyzers in order to perform laboratory tests
- Analyze data and record the findings
- Interpret the findings for study and scrutiny by doctors and physicians
- Perform all the delegated tasks given by the Pathologist, Chief or Assistant Chief Laboratory Technologist
