Specific Duties
- Research, analyze and develop proposals, specifications, manuals, and other data to evaluate the feasibility, cost, and maintenance requirement of design or applications
- Specify system components or direct modification of products to ensure conformance with engineering design and performance specifications.
- Confer with engineers and other personnel to implement operating procedures, resolve system malfunctions, and provide technical information.
- Research, design, evaluate, install, operations maintain mechanical products, equipment, systems, and processes to meet requirements, applying knowledge of engineering principles.
- Investigate equipment failures and difficulties to diagnose faulty operation, and to make recommendations to section head.
- Analyze, design, develop, and maintain products; assist in commercialization
- Assist in identifying and organizing requirements. Apply usability procedures and principles at project or product-line level or through customer input.
- Build prototypes, products, and systems for testing's set up and run laboratory simulations if necessary.
- Design testing procedures and coordinate testing. Conduct tests, document results, and dewclop client presentation.
- Conduct and/or participate in technical reviews of requirements, specifications, designs and codes.
- Evaluate engineering approaches and risks to produce and iterate development plans.
- Read and interpret blueprint, technical drawings, schematics, and computer generated reports.
- To monitor, maintain capital assets and prepare, review timely asset management reports.
- Develop, implement, and manage mechanisms to safeguard assets.
- Develop asset noods assessment, acquisition management operational and disposal plans
- Execute and monitor the implementation of the asset acquisition, maintenance, and disposal plans.
- To participate in fleet management, warehousing, materials handling, order fulfilment, inventory management.
- Provide technical and operational support to the CPM sites, sake initiative in management improvement for the repair and maintenance function
- Ensure the implementation, monitoring and evaluation of new initiatives and procedures related to repair and fleet management
Minimum Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
