Key Responsibilities
- Financial Accounting & Reporting
- Oversee daily accounting operations including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, bank transactions, and fixed assets.
- Prepare monthly financial reports, management accounts, and performance summaries.
- Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Maintain accurate chart of accounts and reporting structures for multi-entity reporting.
Requirements
- Professional qualification: CA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA or equivalent.
- 5–8+ years experience in accounting/finance with 2–3 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards and financial controls.
- Experience working with ERP systems and financial modeling tools.
- Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
- Understanding of Maldivian regulatory and tax environment.
- Experience in trading, retail, automotive, construction, or multi-entity group companies will be an advantage.
- MBA in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
