We are looking for a passionate and energetic Individual to join our team.!
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and manage local procurement and logistics strategies and policies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors.
- Source, negotiate, and order building materials, parts, supplies, and equipment in a timely and cost-effective manner while maintaining quality standards.
- Manage all logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and coordination of materials to multiple construction sites.
- Lead and guide the procurement team in all phases of their work.
- Develop and review purchase requests to ensure proper authorization and compliance with company policy.
- Collaborate with project managers to forecast requirements and with the accounts payable department to ensure timely payment of invoices.
- Discuss and resolve issues related to defective or unacceptable goods or services with vendors and internal teams, taking corrective and preventative action.
- Work to lower procurement costs and secure favorable agreements with suppliers.
- Ensure supplier compliance with all site safety and company requirements.
Key Requirements
- Proven experience managing logistics and supply chain operations.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and strategic thinking skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to lead and mentor a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
