We are seeking a local individual candidate who is interested in Drafting and willing to work as a Technical Draftsman (MEP).

Duties and Responsibilities
- Collaborate with MEP team to prepare detailed MEP drawings and layouts.
- Prepare Design drawings, Shop drawings, installation drawings, coordination drawings, and as-built drawings for MEP systems.
- Use AutoCAD (2D/3D) and preferably Revit MEP to produce accurate and coordinated designs.
- Draft layouts for HVAC, electrical, firefighting, plumbing, drainage, and water supply systems.
- Interpret and convert design sketches, specifications, and calculations into working drawings.
- Modify and update drawings in line with design changes, site conditions, or client requirements.
- Ensure drawings comply with MEP codes, standards, and regulations.
- Perform clash detection and coordination between MEP, structural, and architectural drawings.
- Work closely with engineers, architects, and construction teams to ensure accuracy and buildability of MEP systems.
- Verify site measurements to ensure accuracy of drafting and documentation.
- Maintain organized drawing records and revision logs.
- Attend project meetings to provide drafting support and technical input.
- Ensure timely submission of drawings to meet project deadlines.
- Support in resolving MEP coordination issues during construction.
- Visit sites for verification, coordination, and client meetings as required.
- Any other relevant drafting or technical documentation tasks assigned by managers.
Qualifications and Skills
- Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, Drafting, or related field.
- Minimum 4 years of MEP drafting experience (added advantage).
- Strong knowledge of AutoCAD (2D/3D) – mandatory.
- Bonus points for proficiency in Revit MEP, ArchiCAD, or other BIM software.
- Strong understanding of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, firefighting, and drainage systems.
- Familiarity with international MEP standards and local building codes.
- Good communication skills in English (verbal and written).
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with a high degree of accuracy.
- Team player with flexibility, adaptability, and strong problem-solving abilities.
Remuneration
Salary: Based on qualification and experience.
Insurance: As per company policy.
