Candidate profile

  • Proven experience in a senior Rooms Division leadership role, preferably within a five-star or ultra-luxury resort setting.
  • Demonstrated expertise in overseeing Front Office, Reservation, Housekeeping, Guest Services, Transportation, and related operational functions.
  • Strong strategic mindset with the ability to drive service excellence, operational efficiency, and financial performance simultaneously.
  • Exceptional leadership, coaching, and people-management skills, with a track record of building high-performing, engaged teams.
  • Deep understanding of guest experience management, including VIP handling, service recovery, and feedback-driven improvement.
  • Solid financial acumen with experience in budgeting, cost control, forecasting, and revenue optimization.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering effective collaboration across departments.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and commitment to brand standards and values.
  • Proactive, innovative, and results-oriented, with a passion for continuous improvement and service innovation.
  • Knowledge of health, safety, security, and environmental compliance standards in resort operations.
  • Comfortable working in a remote island resort environment and adapting to dynamic operational demands.

Job Description

  • Provide strategic leadership for the entire Rooms Division, overseeing Front Office, Reservation, Housekeeping, Transportation, to ensure seamless operations and exceptional guest experiences.
  • Drive service excellence and brand standards, ensuring consistent implementation of SOPs and the brand philosophy “Making a Difference” through guest engagement and team empowerment.
  • Own the guest journey, including arrivals, VIP handling, feedback management, and swift resolution of guest concerns to maximize satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Lead, coach, and develop high-performing teams, fostering a culture of professionalism, accountability, continuous improvement, and talent retention.
  • Ensure strong financial performance by managing budgets, P&L, cost control, inventory, and revenue-enhancement initiatives while aligning staffing levels with occupancy forecasts.
  • Collaborate closely with the Resort Manager and Heads of Department to achieve resort-wide operational, service, and financial objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, security, and environmental standards, maintaining a safe environment for guests, employees, and resort assets.
  • Use data and feedback to drive improvement, leveraging guest satisfaction metrics, operational reports, and market insights to implement corrective and enhancement actions.
  • Maintain operational discipline and governance, including accurate reporting, structured meetings, effective communication, and consistent enforcement of grooming and professional standards.
