We are looking for a passionate and energetic Individual to join our team.!
Key Responsibilities
- Organize and disseminate tasks to Sales Officers/Sales Assistants and assist with their work.
- Assist the customers with their requests and complaints and report to Assistant Manager/Manager immediately.
- Prepare and order products from store warehouse for filling racks and check deliveries against the ordering list.
- Stock shelves of the racks with products ensuring the items are in good quality with proper packing and expiry date. Remove spoilt/damaged items from assigned racks.
- Attach price tags to the items on the assigned racks and check price accuracy from the system.
- Check expiry date of the items on the racks daily and remove items three days prior to expiry from the racks as per company policy
- Identify close to expiry (one month) items and inform Manager for price reduction.
- Wrap fruits and vegetables for the Store.
- Attend to Deli Counter and follow guidelines of the company.
- Operate till (cash counter) and accurately handle cash, cheques and credit/debit cards.
- Check the chillers and freezers before the opening and closing of the Store.
- Develop in-store promotional activities.
- Assist Warehouse Assistant to arrange and store products properly.
- Maintain team work and ensure Team comply with Company policies and procedures at all times.
- Assist with regular stock checks and annual stock takes.
- Keep the Store clean and tidy.
- Carry out any other tasks in the day-to-day running of the Store.
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail or customer service is an advantage.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and a proactive attitude.
- Basic knowledge of inventory management and product handling.
- Willingness to learn and contribute to a team-oriented environment.
