Key Responsibilities & Core Duties
- Equipment Management: Install, configure, operate, maintain, and promptly repair a wide range of broadcast equipment, including cameras, switchers, video servers, transmitters, and control room gear.
- Real-Time Technical Support: Provide expert, real-time troubleshooting and support during live broadcasts and critical on-air moments, ensuring minimal disruption.
- System Design & Upgrade: Actively participate in the design, configuration, and necessary upgrades of broadcast systems, managing the integration of IT and IP infrastructure.
- Project Leadership: Plan, lead, and implement new installations and equipment testing, driving projects to successful completion.
- Network Operations: Manage and maintain broadcast systems, IP networks, automation platforms, and monitoring tools.
- Collaboration: Work seamlessly with production teams, managers, and other engineering personnel to support operational needs.
- Emergency Response: Be available for on-call and emergency response duties (potentially 24/7) to address urgent equipment failures and maintain system integrity.
