Responsibilities
- Formulate and implement department and organizational policies and procedures to maximize output.
- Improve processes and policies in support of company goals and objectives.
- Plan, direct, coordinate and oversee operational activities.
- Ensure optimum service delivery, customer service, safety and security.
- Evaluate staffing levels and vessels and traveler volume.
- Analyze requests for additional staff, budgetary requirements, and alternatives.
- Effectively recommend changes in staffing to improve customer service.
- Manage the preparation and maintenance of reports necessary to carry out the functions of the division.
- Prepares periodic reports for management, as necessary or requested, to track strategic goal accomplishment.
- Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
- Continuously monitor operational activities and present the findings and suggestions for improvement.
- Plan and implement staff development and skill enhancement activities of the division.
- Coordinate terminal responses to changes in risk levels, potential or existing threats, or other events affecting terminal or operations.
- Manage and supervise staff, organize work shifts, conduct daily staff meetings / briefings and coordinate staff training.
- Collaborate with support service in preparation and presentation of budget, forecasts, highlight any risks/opportunities.
- Establish milestones from the budget to ensure targets are delivered.
- Coach, mentor and guide terminal managers in effective management, supervise operations, evaluate managers' effectiveness; implement disciplinary measures when required.
- Assist the division in achieving strategic financial objectives and obtaining new business opportunities.
- Evaluate, and improve the efficiency of business processes and procedures to enhance speed, quality, efficiency, and output.
- Maintaining and monitoring official appointment schedules, and replying to telephone queries and emails.
- Perform other duties required or assigned, which help improve the productivity & service of the division.
Minimum Requirements
- MNQF level 03 OR
- 02 years experience in a related field
