REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in business management or related field
- Insurance qualification will be an added advantage
- Minimum 1-2 year work experience in a related field
- Computer skills with knowledge of MS Office Applications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Dhivehi and English
- Excellent inter-personal skills and ability to work in a team environment
- Pleasant personality
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Attending to all internal & external customers’ requirements including that of Intermediaries inquiries regarding underwriting related issues/queries
- Attending customer queries in a timely manner and effectively addressing and resolving issues that are complicated after discussing with the Head of Department/ Head of Section/ Immediate Supervisors
- Evaluate and assess risk and exposures of potential clients and propose most suitable insurance as per the customers’ requirement and communicate terms with Sales/ client service/Ayady
- Maintaining the payment request register, memo register of foreign broker and do the payment in a timely manner
- Preparing & passing Memorandums on decision made by the Underwriting Department
- Sending Renewal terms of expiring insurances to Renewals unit in sales department and reviewing the customers claims history on monthly basis and change terms where required
