Key Responsibilities

Designing/modifying/improving and implementing an overall risk management process for the organization, which includes an analysis of the financial impact on the company when risks occur
Performing risk evaluation: Evaluating the company’s Risk exposure, and comparing potential risks with criteria set out by the company
Conducting policy and compliance audits, which will include liaising with internal and external auditors
The person responsible for the risk management function will report to the CEO functionally and also to the Risk committee of the Board on any matter that may have an adverse material impact on the risk management system of the insurer.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Risk management/ Accounting/ Business Administration/ Finance/ risk management and/ or equivalent professional qualifications
A Masters Level Degree/Insurance related equivalent in the above disciplines is an added advantage
Minimum 5 years’ experience in Management positions, preferably in the financial sector/insurance field.
Experience in working with Senior Management and Board of Directors
Must be proficient (written and spoken) in both Dhivehi and English Language
