General Requirements
- Bachelor/Master of Pharmacy
- Minimum 5 years of experience with 2 years of experience in a 150 bed hospital
- Experience as Senior Pharmacist/Pharmacy Supervisor
- Registered at a licensing authority
- Good English communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required
Job Specification
- Control inventory levels and material indenting process according to consumption
- Establish billing and pricing structures for pharmaceuticals
- Ensure delivery of quality pharmacy services
- Ensure the correct dispensing of medications
- Staff roster and shift management
- Liaise with doctors, nurses and other health care professionals to ensure the safe, effective and economic delivery of drug treatment
- Ensure medicines are stored appropriately as per product specification
- Participate in semi-annual stock take and its reconciliation process
- Plan and supervise the activities in the hospital pharmacy areas
- Update working and clinical knowledge regularly and help others to update their knowledge
- Participate in meetings and discussions in regards to In-patient Pharmacy workflow and processes to ensure optimal Pharmacy services
