Key Responsibilities

Assist in recruitment processes, including posting job ads on platforms like Job Maldives and Caterer Global, sourcing candidates, scheduling and conducting interviews, performing reference checks, and preparing offer letters and travel documents for new hires.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee personal files and team databases (Stem & Fusion).
Support payroll preparation by compiling data and related reports by the cutoff date for finance processing.
Monitor and manage employee leave entitlements, sending pending leave balance reports monthly and following up on team members’ return from vacations.
Prepare monthly internal and external reports, including nationality ratio reports and pension uploads.
Assist in contract renewals, probation confirmations, and performance evaluations, ensuring timely submission of probationary reports to department heads.
Conduct exit interviews for Level 3 and below employees, ensuring compliance with labor law termination procedures.
Support the organization of team activities, such as sports, monthly gatherings, and employee surveys, in collaboration with the HR and Training Managers.
Ensure compliance with local employment laws and resort policies, maintaining confidentiality in all employee matters.
Contribute to a positive team culture by resolving employee complaints within your authority and maintaining professional communication and grooming standards.

Requirements

2-3 years of HR experience, preferably in hospitality.
Strong understanding of Maldivian labor laws.
Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR systems.
Ability to work irregular hours as needed and adhere to resort safety and hygiene regulations.
