Requirements
- O Level / Diploma in Business Administration / Procurement / Logistics or relevant field
- Proven record in procurement department for 3-5 years is an added advantage
- Proficiency working with advanced Excel functions and other accounting packages
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Ability to analyze data and solve problems with high level of integrity
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
Responsibilities
- Identify requirements for goods, materials and services.
- Obtain various quotations to find for potential vendors. Evaluate offers from vendors and negotiate better prices.
- Monitor stock levels and detect purchasing needs.
- Identify reliable suppliers and negotiate prices. Conduct market research to identify pricing trends.
- Prepare Purchase Orders, follow up for approvals and process without any delay.
- Check and verify all the PO through software & PO creation in system.
- Ordering and Inventory Control; Track orders and ensure timely delivery.
- Monitor accounting status using management tools.
- Keep accurate records of purchases made. Update internal databases with order details (dates, vendors, quantities, discounts)
- Prepare payments by verifying documentation and disbursements.
- Ensure goods received are not damaged. Handle goods throughout the purchasing process.
- Provide regular reports and insights to management.
