Job Description

Every evening checks the schedule for transfers and excursions for the following day. Be familiar with the details regarding the trips including number of guests, their names and any special requirements.
Prepare boat set up, according the requirements of the trip and the operating procedures. Always make sure there are sufficient cold towels, beverages and sea sick bands required for each trip. Additionally, during rainy season, make sure that there are enough raincoats and towels available on board.
Go through the check list and make sure that everything on the check lis are followed
Ensure that the boat is clean, set-up and waiting on the guest jetty, 30 minutes prior to each trip, with the crew members. All team members must be following the Resort grooming and uniform standards.
Maintenance of boat set up, cleanliness and hygiene of the vessels
Make sure all trips are as comfortable as possible for all guests, whilst ensuring their safety and catering to their needs.
Be responsible for loading, unloading goods and taking care of goods during transporting goods and supplies, etc
Responsible for any items while on board

Candidate profile

At least 2 years of working experience in a similar role in 5-star Hotel / Resort
Should have valid license as per Maldives Sea Transport Regulation
Must have a Seaman Certificate
Physically fit and agile to perform the duties
Friendly, courteous and professional personality
Ability to understand and communicate in English
Ability to work under pressure, keep calm and positive in dealing difficult situation
Should be a team player and able to work long hours
