We are seeking a Junior Data Analyst to assist in managing data, developing reports, and creating visualizations to support senior management’s decision-making. The role involves analyzing customer, market, and business process data to optimize sales strategies, estimate market share, improve pricing models, and enhance operational efficiencies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing and analyzing large data sets related to customers, business processes, market trends, sales, inventories, and more.
- Develop reports, dashboards, and visualizations to present data-driven insights in an easily understandable format for senior management.
- Utilize data to estimate market share, optimize sales strategies, determine pricing models, and improve operational efficiencies.
- Perform statistical analyses using tools such as Microsoft Excel, SPSS, and SAS.
- Collect, organize, and validate data in a structured and accurate manner.
- Contribute to decision-making processes by providing actionable insights based on data analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and provide data-driven solutions.
Education and Experience:
- Education: Completion of CAT, AAT, ACCA Skills Level, or a Diploma in Accounting.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in a related field, preferably in a data analysis role.
Skills and Requirements:
- Strong mathematical and statistical skills for analyzing and organizing data.
- Proficiency with statistical software such as Microsoft Excel, SPSS, SAS, and similar tools.
- Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau, Qlik, or similar software.
- Ability to write queries, generate reports, and create compelling presentations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Creative and innovative mindset to develop actionable insights from data.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to present complex data findings to senior management.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Energetic and driven, with a focus on delivering results.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Salary & Benefits:
- Salary: MVR 13,000-14,000
