We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Account Assistant to support our accounting team. The ideal candidate will assist in various accounting tasks, ensuring accuracy and timely completion of financial processes.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor inventory levels, collaborate with planning teams to maintain optimal stock levels, and participate in stocktaking activities.
- Track shipments, monitor delivery progress, and proactively address any delays or exceptions. Communicate updates to relevant stakeholders.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to supply chain execution, such as on-time delivery rates, order accuracy, and transportation costs. Prepare reports and analyze data to identify areas for improvement.
- Monitoring daily productions are reflected in ERP system according with production data.
- Plan and coordinate with stores teams and processing cycle counts to verify physical and ERP are accurately reflecting day to day transactions in real time.
- Preparing and distributing additional charges involves clearing cargo through trade operations and ensuring all costs are distributed accordingly.
- Review accuracy of monthly cost of sales (product level) and inventory valuation (product level) reports are aligned with Business unit operations.
- Regular monitoring of internal usage from business units and ensure transactions are reflected in ERP.
- Coordinate and regular monitoring of customs clearing goods from cargo team for trade operations.
Qualifications:
- Education: bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Experience: At least one year experience in inventory management and storekeeping.
Salary:
- MVR 14,500-17,000
