We are looking for an Accounts Officer !

Responsibilities

Reconcile vendor, intercompany, and current accounts regularly.
Verify payments and ensure accurate transaction reflection in the system.
Enter accounting information to document financial transactions.
Perform month-end activities like bank reconciliations, journal entries, and generating financial reports for management.
Resolve financial discrepancies by analyzing system data and reconciling accounts.
Reconcile bank statements with general ledger entries.
Evaluate accounting systems and recommend improvements to Seniors/IT.
Respond to management’s accounting inquiries promptly.
Assist other Accountants and Accounts Officers as needed.
Monitor and record financial transactions in compliance with company policies.
Conduct ad hoc analysis and projects as requested.
Review A/P and A/R GL distributions for accuracy in reporting.

Requirements

Degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field. Candidates pursuing with professional qualifications such as ACCA, CIMA or CIA shall be preferred and minimum 2 years of experience in a related field.
Demonstrated experience in MS Office Software and ability to learn new accounting software.
Ability to work within a team with colleagues from a wide range of professional backgrounds.
Ability to work without supervision and organize own workload and ensure effective time management.
Ability to work under pressure, and within agreed due dates deliver high standard outcomes.
Good interpersonal skills with ability to communicate with all levels of colleagues and external suppliers.
