Bank of Maldives is seeking to recruit a talented and qualified individual to the position of Manager Business Compliance !

Roles & Responsibilities

Coordinate with all functional areas to develop effective and feasible solutions for meeting compliance requirements.
Actively support Head of Business Compliance in developing, continually reviewing, and improving the bank’s policies and procedures, monitoring the performance of compliance programs, and supporting functional areas.
Assess whether Branches/Business Units are complying with the Policies and Procedures and inform superiors if any issues need to be addressed.
Review the expiry of customer KYC and ID/Business registration and remind customers to update their information.
Monitor customer transaction profiles and raise queries to customers based on reports provided by the central Compliance Department under Risk Division
Obtain supporting documents from customers if they are transacting above their declared income.
Ensure monthly communications to inconsistent customers are sent in a risk-based approach.
Raise queries to customers based on various reports generated by the Compliance Division in ongoing monitoring and enhanced due diligence.
Ensure that customers are contacted to obtain supporting documents for Inward Remittance (IR) and Telegraphic Transfer (TT) inquiries received from the correspondence bank, coordinate with IB to release the IRs, and follow up until the queries are closed.
Work with Risk & Compliance and submit all required information to ORC & ARC.
