Key responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Contributing to the planning, implementing of the multipurpose counselling (telephone and face to face) services.
- Contribute in planning and implementing of forums, focused activities for community outreach programs in psycho social and emotional development.
- Support and provide input into IEC resource development
- Attend radio, television and other public relations presentations on request
- Support in maintaining the credibility of the counselling program
- Follow good standards of practice and care which requires professional competence; good relationships with clients and colleagues; and commitment to and observance of professional ethics.
- Respond to and document in coming helpline and face to face clients.
- Counsel clients and maintain secure client records
- Ensure to maintain client records and work within the boundaries and ethics.
- Participate in awareness programs held in the islands, such as Health Festivals, Screening trips and Multi-purpose health trips and attend school health programs
