• Proficiency in Linux operating systems, including system administration, shell scripting, and command-line tools 
• Strong understanding of computer networking concepts, including layer 2 and layer 3 
• Understanding of virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, KVM) and cloud platforms (e.g., OpenStack, AWS). • Experience with Network Functions Virtualization (NFV) and Software-Defined Networking (SDN) 
• Knowledge of security protocols and best practices for mobile core networks 
• Familiarity with tools for network performance management and diagnostics 
• Skills in project management, including planning, executing, and overseeing projects Understanding of 3GPP reference guide

·       Bachelor’s degree or HND in telecommunications, IT or related field

·       Professional certificates in the mobile core platforms or areas

·       Plan and carry out system expansions and upgrades as per network upgrade plans.

·       Plan and carry out routine/non-routine checks, preventive, and corrective maintenance activities as per required schedules and vendor recommendations

·       Prepare and assist in preparing RFP, BC, technical papers, outage reports, specifications, training documents or technical presentations as necessary

·       Maintain correct operation procedures for all systems maintained and managed by FMTC and implement new procedures as required

·       Ensure that all operational procedures are followed

·       Collaborate with the team to ensure systems are maintained according to established processes and team guidance

·       Liaise with equipment manufacturers to ensure Dhiraagu interests are protected.
