We are looking for experienced Supervisor to join our City Bakery team to directly supervise and coordinate the activities of the production and operating workers.
MAIN RESPONSIBILTIE:
• Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in mixing, dividing, molding, and proofing of dough, and in baking, slicing, and wrapping of bread, pastries, and other bakery products: Examines dough and batter for specified consistency.
• Reads charts of fermentation room and ovens to verify specified humidity and temperature.
• Oversees operation of automatic machinery, such as rounding, curling, icing, slicing, and wrapping machines to ensure maintenance of specified quality standards and production schedules.
• Sets up and adjusts wrapping and slicing machines.
• Trains new workers.
• Inventory bakery products to prepare for production.
• Responsible for supervising the team and assisting the Head Chef and Bakery Manger with daily operations.
• Carry out day to day Administrative Functions of the bakery;
• Dispatch – all the bakery dispatches have to be tally with the original approved bills.
• Coordinate day to day transport arrangements with the Bakery Manager.
• Supervise and Maintain Inventory Records of the products and dispatches of the bakery.
• Inspect /monitor attendance, punctuality and personal hygiene/sanitation as well as staff grooming of all staff.
• Responsible for cleanliness, namely the maintenance of the agreed standards of hygiene and safety precautions within his/her area together, strictly adhering to all relevant safety, environmental and hygiene (HACCP) regulations.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIRMENTS:
• Proven experience as Supervisor, or relevant role
• Organizing and leadership skills
• Computer Literate
• Willingness to replenish professional knowledge
