We are currently seeking an experienced Account Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining accounting records and ensuring company finances are accurate and up to date.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accounting records, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, and other financial data.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial accounts regularly.
- Prepare periodical financial statements
- Collaborate with other departments to gather financial information and ensure accuracy of information.
- Provide support during audits and tax preparation.
- Resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities in a timely and professional manner.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar role
- Strong technical accounting skills and proficiency with accounting software
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills preferred
Remuneration Package:
MVR 10,000 to 15,000 per month (Depending on Qualification & Experience)
