The first batch for Government of Maldives fully-funded courses to train Divemasters and dive training for fishermen is now open for application till 2 July. Minimum age for both courses is 18 years of age. Training courses will start on 7 July 2023 in Male'.
The Upskilling and Training Program under the Covid-19 Emergency Income Support Project provides financial assistance for strengthening skilled and safe underwater labour force, in both scuba-diving and fishing industries.

- PADI Advanced Open Water Diver: 4 days
- Emergency First Response: 2 days
- PADI Rescue Diver: 4 days
- Practical Dive Experience: 15 days
- Divemaster Course: 45 days
